Need help with purchasing a laptop:
The requirements are, in order of importance:
1: Light and Portable, no bigger than 13inch & have FHD Resolution
2: Must comfortably play/stream 1080p video.
3: Be able to edit and render video, albeit small movies of no more than a few minutes. (Has a desktop at home where heavier work can be done).
4: Have wireless AC internet
5: Have ability for quick file transfers (im guessing usb3.0 will suffice here)

I was asked about some laptops with the Intel Atom and Celeron chips but tbh i have no idea how these would stack up hence asking for advice. I think she was looking at something like the Acer Switch 10.
Thanks.
P.S. No Gaming to be done on this potential machine

What's your budget?
I spoke with her. she said she really does not want to spend more than £250 -£300.
This machine is simply going to be a 'filler' whilst shes mobile, one she gets home she would be working on her desktop. Hence why the Atoms and Celerons were mentioned.

Sorry to disappoint but you will struggle to find a laptop with a FHD screen for under £300. Also do do any kind of video editing (no matter the size or length of video) you are going to have to have a decent Processor / RAM.

I would suggest saving up a little and find one for around £500-£600.

Something like this would be good: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/review/u...eview-attractive-intel-core-m-laptop-3606180/
