What Laptop from that "D" company (Studio?)

My parents are going to be buying me a Laptop for christmas. I'm thinking of the Studio laptop. Does anyone have one? What are they like?

Will it be able to plug into my tv?
will it be able to plug into my surround sounda via optical?

just some info on them would be great. Thanks

ive got a XPSm1330 and it is really good - smaller than the studios and you can get one for around the same price in the sale (end of Jan is the end of their stock year so they sell them off cheap then)

I had mine for about three weeks and they are stunning, well worth the cash.

It does have a HDMI output although i haven't tried it yet, also its doesn't have an optical port. ( I Dont think so anyway )
