Which is better?
1) Acer Aspire 5051AWXMi AMD Turion MK36 2.0GHz 512MB 60GB DVD SuperMulti 5in1 Card Reader 14.1" TFT CrystalBrite Windows XP Media Center Edition (Vista Capable)

there isn't a lot in price between the two.
also that's the differences between the processors and which processor is better?
I would be using the laptop mainly for work purposes, maybe occasional light gaming (football manager).

The Turion is a faster processor CPU.

I am just looking for something fairly cheapish for work purposes. dont think I'd want to go for a celeron processor though. these 2 are ones I have found at a fairly decent price. specs are as below for both. which would be your choice?

For office work go for the Sempron. AMD mobile cheaps power consumption is pretty high though. I would look for a single core "Centrino" as some of them last upto 5/6 hours, compared to Turions ~2 hours (examples)
