What laptop ?

Hi

Looking at getting a laptop at the end of the month which will be used for the following

Web browsing
Skype
Playing / storing music

Not too bothered about gaming, i have an xbox for that but it would be nice if it played older games like CS / Planetside. It needs to have a 17' display

Budget is around £300 - £500 really

Suggestions please, do you guys rate dell ?

BUT I'm starting to really like Dell build quality to be honest.... stay away from Acer though, I have had one and working in a repair shop had most of our work from Acer... there is a reason their warrenty extensions are so cheap.... its because they expect them to break!
