what laptops are there atm with ivy b 1080p for sub 700 quid?

ragging my hair out haha. sent my dell xps back because it just cant handle my daily needs but my pc i sold was too powerful. so now alli have is my pho.e haha

im in the market for a sub 700 max 750 laptop with ivy b and 1080p screen ice seen a few but theyre all 1366 by 768? !

why does that res still exist haha

anyone know of any new laptops? ive heard theres a mass release june 3rd

You probably won't get an IB laptop with a 1080p screen at that price.

I too don't understand why higher resolution screens are the norm. 1080p is perhaps a little too much for a laptop but 1600 * 900 is where I feel the vast majority of laptops should be.

Ideally:

11-13" 1366x768-1440x900
14" - 1600x900
15.6" - 1920x1080
17.3" - 1920x1080

You can get an Ivy bridge i7 quad core, GTX 660M, graphics card, 1080p for about £800 brand new if you know where to look, with a lesser graphics card the price would probably be in your budget

edit: 1080p, i7 3610QM, GT630M, etc, less than £600 without OS, brand new

ended up splashing on the inspiron 17r special edition. very happy with it. ivy b 3610 1080p 8gb ram 1tb hdd 17 inch gt650m, will probs sell in a few months and upgrade to an xps 17 if they turn out to have a faster gfx card, if not then this is a beast of a machine
