Hi guys,

I have been looking on the Samsung site and there are so many 32" LCD's

Could you tell me which one is the best? and the newest?

I have been looking at either Samsung or LG as I have heard this are excellent telly at a good price?

What to pay under 900 if possible?

Sorry for my lack of input, but I dont know too much about this kind of stuff...

Cheers

Baz

Definately the LG 32LX2R as these are fanastic screens for the price you can get them at.

They look awesome when linked up to a pc using DVI or when connecting an Xbox 360 via component.

Hope that helps....

I sort of ended up buying the LG today (set out to look and wife seemed positive when I tentativly said we should replace the ageing CRT, so I went for it), looks great so far, more connections than you can shake a stick at, seperate colour/bright/contrast and sharpness controls for each input and comes with some DVI/VGA cables and a cloth for cleaning the screen !

The colours/contrast were set way to overbearing out of the box but a quick turning down of everything got them in order and the noise reduction works well to clean up those poor sky compressed pictures and lower quality SD sources.
DVD's from my SD player through RGB scart look excellent :)
For the money, I think its great value, it can be had online for around £50 less than I payed, but something this size I prefer to buy "in the flesh".

Now I just have to find the code for it for the Sky remote ...

As others have said, LG 32LX2R is the way forward if your willing to pay the price. If you want a cheaper, with less connections, and lower contrast then go for the Sammy.

I have an LG 32LX2R and it is simply stunning, pc through the DVI is pin sharp. As is Xbox 360 through component. Standard tv isn't bad by any standards and neither is dvd playback :)

Sky now list all the codes on their interactive section under customer help or something like that.

The Xbox 360 and dvd playback thru componant on the Sammy 32" is highly impressive also ( I have an hd850 dvd player, Sony hdr710 & x360 all routed through a denon 1906 7.1 amp with componant switching)
