With the launch of Final Fantasy 12 in next couple of weeks, its time to drag out the PS2 shake the cobwebs off and blow away dust! (Only reason i keep it!)
Anyways there no way my Mrs going to let me hook it to the Plasma downstairs, mainly the fact once i start playing she wont see the TV again for weeks!
Is there anyway i can take advantage of my Dell 20" Ultra Sh. monitior?
Im guessing something like a S-Video or Comp would do it?? But cant find any, then there is the small problem of sound!!

Any help guys? cheers!
[Edited - No asking for competitors at all]
Or if overclockers sell what i need then great give me link and ill be there! :D

What's the model number of the monitor? Is it a TFT or a CRT?

What connections does the monitor have on it?

You can't ask for competitors, even by PM/e-mail, it's still breaking the rules. [Correct - Thank you]

Its the Dell 20.1" Ultrasharp TFT,
Got DVi, VGA, Comp, S-Video. Does PIP quite a nice one, so hopefully one of them should do it?!

Sorry about blunder!! :(

You have a couple of options:
1) Find an S-video -> PS2 cable (if one ever existed?)
When you say "comp", is that composite (yellow) or component (red, green, blue)?
2) if composite then connect with cable that came with PS2
3) if component find a component -> PS2 cable (they do exist)
4) buy a TV card for your PC and connect the PS2 to that with composite plug (yellow)

1, 2 and 3 will not give you sound though, so you will need to get amp/speakers to connect to the PS2 (maybe through red and white composite cables).
4 will give you sound through your PC speakers, but obviously the PC will have to be switched on whenever you play on the PS2.
