Looks like defaulting to EPP performance, needing to set to balance_powerPresumably more power consumed though. Do you have the ability to measure that system power draw because that's quite a hike in temp (around 25%).

What hardware are you using?Well I've tried a few, but it always the same, stuff just doesn't work.
Tried Kali <<< whats that all about HaxOrBox ect.. nothing serious there.
Tried Fedora.... can't login to the forum... bluetooth doesn't work properly... packet drops on youtube. I've not got into to photos yet!
All I do is test stuff using linux tools mostly and always have. Yep tick aye that works.
I might as well just stick to WSL because it all works.
NIGHTMARE!
Just an Asus laptop with Intel AX210What hardware are you using?

Where's the passkey stored? If its on your phone and you're trying to use that, does seem like Linux supports Passkey over bluetooth (at least I've never been able to get it working reliably)Might as well try that then, will I be able to login to the Forums after I've moved to that?
I'm using passkey.
Tried Mint many times over the years, but I found their team to be lacking with serious help, that being said I think it is time to move Linux/UnixI've put Linux Mint on my low end laptop (Celeron 1.8Ghz and 12GB DDR4 RAM) after never using a Linux operating system before. I opted for Mint because it's apparently not very resource intensive and runs fairly smoother than Windows 11, which so far I have to agree. Are there any caveats to using Mint? My main use case is mostly emails and browsing
for these activities, it will be totally fine. many other spins will be also too.I've put Linux Mint on my low end laptop (Celeron 1.8Ghz and 12GB DDR4 RAM) after never using a Linux operating system before. You shouldn't have any problems there at all. I use LM for everything from browsing to gaming and haven't touched Windows outside of the office for about 8 years. There are other distros probably more suited to gaming now but I still rarely have any issues with Mint and it's just comfortable to use.I've put Linux Mint on my low end laptop (Celeron 1.8Ghz and 12GB DDR4 RAM) after never using a Linux operating system before. I’ve just finished installing Mint onto a 10 year old, 4Gb MacBook Pro which was pretty painless apart from the WiFi drivers and even then it wasn’t too awkward to add them. Some YouTube videos stuttered and generally didn’t play well but that was a stress test. The usual gamut of apps loaded snappily and run just fine. Anybody know what might be causing this to happen ZorinOSI'm using Zorin most stuff works, the bluetooth once disconneted never connects ever again until you delete the device then re-add it. youtube works ok
Brave browser is irritating trying to turn off the silly add blocker thing,,,, to be continued..
Using KeePassXC version 2.7.10 as local server with browser plugin for passkey login. what a faff!
Firefox doesn't work properly for passkey forums.overclockers anyway!
