What low profile memory is recommended for Haswell?

Hi all,

If I continue to use the TJ08B-E case and go for the Asus Z87 VI Gene, I will require low profile memory if I want to use the HDD cage, or a big Noctua 14.

I had read there were compatibility issues with Crucial Ballistix Tracer and RoG motherboards, but the actual problems were not listed, and are now not mentioned?

So far my choices had been the boring old Sammy green, or the Crucial Tactical CL8 1600mhz LP that was scored down for it's 2T.

And as I still have fond memories of Corsair PC3500LL Led lit memory, also thinking of the Ballistix Tracer if low enough and compatible.

Any other recommendations?

Teamgroup Vulcan is excellent and low profile.

Samsung Green are working well on that board. As are team group Vulcan that Gibbo points out. I have not tried any more low profile stuff than that with this board as yet. What I have found though is ASUS have the bios welll developed to ensure compatibility.

My Rog crosshair has 8Gb of patriot black 2133 and 8Gb of heatsinkless vengeance 2000 to fit under the phantek cooler. Both running at about 2GHz 10-10-10-27

As 8 pack says, Asus generally have pretty wide compatibility.
