What M/B to go with a 9450????

Hi All,

Looking to upgrade again, and have been waiting for the 9450 to come into stock.

But unsure what to do on the M/B front. Currently have a Gigabyte 965 DS4, that at present doesn't support the 9450.

Likely to stay with an nVidia GFX card, and possibly go to the 9800GX2 in the future so M/B has to be able to support this.

I'd looked at the Asus Striker Formula nForce 780i but at £215 seems a lot of money for a M/B.

I'm likely to carry out some overclocking but not to extreme.

Rest of my spec is in the sig.

Unless you're planning to sli 9800GX2 a nv motherboard is not needed and there is certainly no need to splash out £215 for one.

I'd imagine support for Q9450 on the P965 DS4 is just a bios flash away but if it's not the case a decent P35/X38 DDR2 motherboard will do nicely.
