If you didn't watch it just now, check it out http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00qzlbv/Horizon_20092010_What_Makes_a_Genius/

Marcus Du Sautoy presents a very interesting documentary, kind of another take on nurture or nature. Experiments including removing a specific gene in a mouse to take away learning ability, a blind person being able to see by sound going to the visual cortex, and the ability to improve the brains motor functions.

my dad was a genius i think, he is dead now tho
but he had an idea to make something that the company he worked for could use to make their life a lot easier, he also knew that they didnt actually need it and that if they just looked at the problem it could be very very easily sorted. but because of the way the company is so badly managed they would use it.
he produced this idea sold it to the company and setup his own busniness selling this item for £2400 every month.
i think it took them 4 years to realise they didnt actually need this item.
my dad was a very clever man ! i hope i can be even half as clever as he was

Have a read of this and you might be a little closer to your dream...

The programme was good, the blind lady "seeing" by sound was amazing, it would be interesting to see someone using it who has more experience than her.

Does anyone know when new Horizon is aired on BBC-HD?

I've seen a couple of episodes here and there, but it's never a proper weekly schedule?
