Was just browsing around and from knowing nothing about the ati products was just wondering what the biggest difference between these 2 cards and why the crossfire edition is so much more expensive?

PowerColor ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB

vs

PowerColor ATI Radeon X1800 ***CrossFire Edition*** 512MB

I would have thought the XT symbolises the marked up version whereas the latter would be normal?

The crossfire version features a compositing chip that combines the video outputs of both cards in crossfire into a single output

This chip is expensive so the crossfire card will be more expensive
