what makes this card so more pricey compared to this one

even though the 5970 Dominates that other card , also its the same thing with the nvidia quadro's, any answers guys?

Different bios's they're aimed at professional use rather than gaming.

Your paying for driver support.

Also that fireGL looks like its based on a 2900/3800 series.

Nvidia do a similar range of cards aimed at professionals called Quadro.
