so is it better to go for low latencys with AMD cpus?
Yes, especially with an FX and its unlocked multipliers. However, the best is probably the Corsair 3500LL Pro's for 2GB.

Another vote for the Corsair... I can get mine to 2-3-2-5@228MHz with 2.6V. Can get it higher if I drop the cas to 2.5. Have seen other people getting similar results:) Should be perfect to pair with an FX with its unlocked multis!

i have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core FX60, Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe motherboard?

might look to overclocking in the future...

just haven't got a clue!

Try either set of GSkill in my opinion HZ or the ZX... ZX has nice tighter timings which also provide some room for overclocking. Have them myself with my X2 4400+.

Edit: Were you not the guy who purchased a set of incompatible DDR2 RAM with your system? What happened to those? ;)

lol....infamous already.....yeah i was the guy that bought DDR2 RAM for my DDR mobo LOL.....how stupid am i LOL!

i exchanged the DDR2 ram for the ZX ram this morning over the phone and the guy laughed at me LOL
