What memory for next build based around Vista 64 bit

Looking at next build, possibly in the New Year, however thought I would buy 4GB of memory whilst the prices are low.

What is the preferred option, go for 4X1GB sticks or 2 X2GB sticks

2 sets (Total 4 sticks) of GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC) £70.48
Or
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-5400C5 Dual Channel Vista Upgrade Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2VU6674GK) £76.36

As stated, the memory is for a proposed new build, so I do not yet have the motherboard, however is will most likely be an Asus P5K Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express or simlar, not sure about CPU just yet, but something around £75 - £100 mark.

Mild overclocking, PC will be used for general use and Games.

Is there a definitive position on whether 4x1 is better/worse then 2x2 for maximum overclock? I keep seeing people on here saying 4x1 is better, then someone else will say 2x2 is better.

So with say a Q6600 with a 9 multiplier the maximum 1:1 overclock is likely to be 4GHz with 2x2 sticks? Sounds decent enough to me. Cheers.

Gone for the 2 stick option
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK)
£82 for 4 GB seems good to me, I remember paying circa £1 per MB for PC100 at a computershow.

I paid £159 for the 512K expansion for my Amiga 500, and I remember paying about £240 for to take me from 4meg to 8 meg on my first PC :O
