Hi all,

This might be a n00bish question, but can I find out what memory is in a PC without taking it apart?

And also, since I am in this part of the forum.. :p is it better to have 2x2GB sticks or 4x1GB stick.. or is it not that much of a difference in performance?

Cheers
Tom

CPU-Z will tell you what it is.

It's a bit better to have 2x2gb as four sticks can be a strain on the northbridge, tho a little more NB voltage is usually enough to compensate.

Thank you guys! Just happens I had the CPUZ on my computer already, but totally forgot about it.. :o

Cheers
