what memory is recommended

At the moment I have 2 sticks of Kingston value 512 Mb pc3200 ddr400 ddr sdram installed in an MSI K9Nneo4 platinum ms7125 mobo.Not knowing much about ram I want to upgrade,for gaming etc,what is dual channel ddr in respect to what I have(dual channel ddr 400 184 pin ddr is max in instruction book).
I would like to go to 2Gb as 2x1 gb sticks,what do you think I should buy?

My problem is that here in cyprus memory is expensive,so my wife is going to pick me up some when she travels through dubai next week,and therefore everything will have to be written down for her,and be interpreted by the salesman.So detail in laymans terms much appreciated,it will also help me.

going to go for the gskill zx3200 low latency,as a backup got a printout from pc memory with a list of alternative dual channel makes,hopefully her indoors will return with what I want.

Only in transit so will pick up in the duty free,and no way to get access to what they sell or to talk to them,only know that pc kit is available there at good prices.
