What memory rating for 1333 ?

I'm upping my bus to 1333 and am currently using Corsair 8000ul rated for 1000 MHz ?. The fastest mem I can see is 9200 @1150 MHz, how can this be ?.

The numbers have me in a tizz. 1333 is quad pumped on Intels so its really 333. DDR doubles this to 666 hence 5400 memory (667 MHz) would do !?!?. The numbers don't work out for me....

Will I need to reduce my bus to 250MHz to keep the 1GHz 8000ul happy ??

Yes 1333 FSB is PC5300.

PC6400 memory is fast enough for most C2D systems, buying faster ram is mostly a waist of time unless you're overclocking above 1600FSB (800mhz+) But then most PC6400 does 900mhz+ with a little moer volts.
