what memory to get for a MSI Z77 MPower Intel Z77 mobo?

will be getting MSI Z77 MPower Intel Z77 pretty soon and was wondering what memory would be good for that board?

I'm not fully understandable in the memory criteria!

could someone explain the dual channel mode,tri channel mode,quad channel mode,MHz the more the better right?

I think this memory I'm currently looking at might be sufficient!!

I would be happy with 8gb ram for now,would upgrade to 16gb at some point.

1600mhz is sweet spot for gaming.

quad channel is not available on z77. tri channel neither. dual channel means you have two identical ram sticks in the specified slots (tells you in mobo manual) and they run in dual channel.

so 4 sticks of ram on z77 is still 2 lots of dual channel

thanks you made that very clear,I wasn't sure that if you had 4 sticks of ram it would be 2 lots of dual channel.

so basically 1600mhz is ideal ?
