What method of scripting in the enterprise?

Hi all, I'm just curious what you mainly use for daily administration?

VBS
Other?

I'm just wondering what the most flexible and current language is to use? I'm guessing it's vbscript as it seems a lot more powerful.

Any advice?

I used to do login scripts in Kixtart, then whatever best suited the situation requring the script. More often than not the issue/task could be completed with a simple batch file, however I found PowerShell to be very powerful and flexible when I wasn't wrestling with syntax.

They still work perfectly well for me too

Amazing what you can do with a few | and >> symbols and combinations of commands

I'm awful for just using whatever get's the job done, so batch if it's dead simple, autoit if it isn't, VBS if I'm robbing it off someone else.

I'm hoping to move towards powershell

I tend to just use batch at the moment but Im trying to move over to Powershell. I set up a Server 08 core in the hope that would make powershell second nature. I seem to be copying and pasting loads off the internet though.
