Well, I bought one of those clip on ones from ***** think it was around £3, pretty good, i clipped it to my Senheisers and after a while (months) nobody can hear me anymore, i have to now phisicaly hold it to my mouth to get it to work, so now im after a better one

i would like to not get one that stands on the desk becuase of wires and it being just in the way really, hence why i bought a clip on mic

any suggestions? :)

cheers for that

looks like USB, is that going to cause a problem ? i normaly use the 3.5mm mic in on the onboard sound card

I also use that mic. pretty good tbh, but I find that you are better off using headphones with it, as the background noise from speakers obviously obscure your voice.

I use a Logitech desktop mic myself, has a handy mute button and picks me up very clearly and at a good volume.

I have it just to the side of my monitor, it has a small base and has never gotten in the way of anything.

i got a cheap rip off of this one works perfectly.

desk mic + good headphones >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>gaming headset.

For the monies

Sennheiser pc350 or HD555 with a desktop mic

Try to stay away from USB though.
