I currently have an old Silverstone SST case, looks like http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-281-SV&groupid=2362&catid=1092 but an older model.

My problem is that it's just too damn big! I'm looking to get a new case that'll fit in my cabinet under my TV. I've lived with it on my cabinet up until now but my BeQuiet CPU cooler fan has started making an annoying ticking noise so a good excuse to get a new case.

My current parts:

CPU: i3-4130
Asus H81M-PLUS Micro-ATX motherboard
8GB DDR3 (Standard height)
Corsair RM 550
Crucial M500 120GB + 2TB HD
Be Quiet! Shadow Rock Topflow SR1 CPU Cooler
Silverstone SST case

What I need:
Micro-ATX Case under 12cm height, that supports my Corsair RM 550 PSU
CPU Cooler that'll fit said case
Some quiet fans to go in the case.

I was looking at this but I don't really like the look of the case and it's a bit pricey..

YOUR BASKET
1 x Lian Li PC-C37B Aluminium HTPC Chassis - Black £122.99
1 x Silverstone Argon SST-AR06 CPU Cooler £26.64
Total : £160.39 (includes shipping : £8.75).

Here ya go... :) LOADS Cheaper!

You can stick that cooler in or maybe spend a little more for something like this:

140mm and nice and low profile. You should be able to run that off the motherboard header for nice cool and quiet performance :)

Oh and I wouldn't even bother putting any more fans in the case. That cpu shouldn't really require them as I bet the cpu wouldn't even get warm with that cooler even in an av unit.

Hope that's some help.

Ah didn't notice that. I just spotted that it supported standard ATX PSU. That PSU is 160mm long :(

My suggestion would be to flog that PSU as its massively overkill for a HTPC. I was going to suggest a ML03 and SFX PSU But they are M-ITX.

Ye I regret going micro instead of mini itx and dunno what I was thinking with that PSU!

I may try sell it and build again, the way I should have done at the start!

The PSU size issue is only if you have a optical drive installed if you do not then you shouldn't have any issues with larger ones.

I'm not a fan of mitx for me it could do with an extra pcie or mini pcie like laptops have because if you instal graphics card that's it you can't add anything else say like a tv card.
