As per title,

Any Micro ATX motherboards without on board graphics?

My bedroom media PC is Socket S775 with DDR2, I have a passive cooled PowerColor SCS3 HD5750, but it resides within a Silverstone LC13 case which I don't like the internal layout of. I got this case as the motherboard is full ATX, which I required for a PCI sound card and wireless card, PSU is a Corsair 450w. Two HD's and a DVD drive.

If I could find a Micro ATX with a digital out for the above components, I could get a newer smaller case, and recycle some old parts.

Any ideas, is there reasonable Micro ATX S775 motherboards with digital outs I should look at which do not have on board graphics?

Cheers

You might want to have a look for the "DFI LANPARTY JR P45-T2RS", it's a micro ATX P45 board.

It looks like its a tough one to overclock with, but it has a lot of features/connections for a board this size.

Well as I have a better graphics sollution than the "onboard" option why would I want to pay for this feature?

Buying a mobo with onboard graphics which I do not want/nor wish to use is akin to walking into Burger King for just a burger and buying a Cheeseburger meal deal just to eat the burger when I could have bought a Whopper instead.

I assume a newer system is the way to go if I want to have a micro ATX without on board graphics?

Generally MicroATX motherboards are aimed at the budget end of the spectrum thus virtually all have onboard video.

For this form factor it is atypical to lack integrated graphics. As such a board with no integrated graphics (like that DFI) will cost more than the majority of the IGP equipped boards (G31,G41 etc).

If you don't plan on doing much/any overclocking then these cheaper boards are worth a look. How does this one strike you?

To be honest I was looking for something to fit into the likes of SilverStone’s Grandia GD02 case, with the E5200 with an NT01-E passive cooler, 4gb of DDRII, and Powercolor 5750 passive cooled, WD 1.5 green drive and Blue Ray drive for media movies, music and some games on a 1080 40" or 50" plasma, digital out with the option of coax or optic into a Dac in a seperates system.

May slightly overclock, but this would negate the NT01-E CPU cooler I have.
