I have decided to get an E6600 on release.

Not sure about the mobo though, so can someone help me choose one or tell me which is best for some mass power and overclocking :D

I'm going for the asus, seen some very good results in oc'ing on them and all the features seem to be very usefull to myself personally :)

I ordered the DFI which will arrive tomorrow hopefully, Like Psypher5 mentioned they all seem to be good overclockers but it will depend on the features you want.

Intel seems to be the most stable so far, dfi is showing promise too.

intel bad axe or dfi infinity to date are the best, i still dont know about dfi vdroop, but the asus has poor vdroop problems.

I haven't seen any great results with the Infinity as of yet, the Bad Axe has a lot of little niggles, not to mention that it is proven to be slower clock for clock than other 975 boards.

My personal choice would be with the Asus P5W DH; seen some nice fsb from that. Seems like a good board.

Devious benched both the asus and the badaxe and the bad axe took his cpu further on stock volts than the asus mobo.

thought he managed 4ghz with the asus?

I was talking about stock volts.Something that usually measures a mobos stability. Not sure he is prime stable at 4ghz but he booted into windows to take a screenie.

ahhh, I'm used to just cracking the volts up and keeping it like that :P

I like doing the other way,At least volts as possible with the highest clock.
Keeps temps down etc..

Will only use the volts the cpu needs lol and build up gradually.I'm in no rush just yet.I have only just got the thing! :p

does anyone know what the max FSB is on the bad axe without any mods?

so hard to choose a dam board, i think i will have to go with the bad axe simply because it allows sli with hacked drivers.

Hey AmdPower mate.. your gonna have to change your username lol. Are do you feel dirty like me having to go back to intel lol. :p

We are all whores!

It seems the badaxe is indeed slower, needs modding to get anywhere and has a retarded oc'menu.

Asus with 8 phase or the dfi tbh.
