Ok so i'm looking to get a new system after Xmas. I basically want to get a system that is cheap initially but i can upgrade over a few months to be high spec. I did something similar with the AMD 64 3000 when they were doing the rounds.
Anyway, im looking to get a E2140 as these are extremely overclockable and cheap. Now i would eventually like to get a Q6600 in a few months so i would like a mobo that this can do justice too. I also would like a SLi board as im planning to SLi 2 8800GT's.
I have all the components from my current system that can be transefered over so just need an idea for Mobo and memory. Cheap but effective is what i'm aiming for.
So what do you guys suggest?
