what mods should i do?

It's InvaderGIR's and the Fiesta is having a holiday and will be back once I'm bored of taking the **** out of BMWs that blow up :D I stole the 'built to last' bit from one of your images :p

Personally I would have held out for at least a facelift 1.6. How come you went for a 1.4 out of interest?

Saying that, i've done a few bits and pieces to mine (1.6) but everything that i've done i've got for next to nothing/eBay bargains etc. I certainly wouldn't have spent big money on it!

Here's what i've done, which might give you a few ideas:

Colour coded bumper inserts, side strips and door handles
17" OZ Superturismos
30mm Eibach springs
K&N panel filter
ST170 snorkle
ST170 airbox
2.0 auto air deflector
ST170 lower grill
LHD reverse light
US spec rear lights
Smooth rear wiper
Stainless steel exhaust tip (wasn't bothered about extra noise etc so didn't want to fork out for a backbox)

Like I said everything i've picked up has been dirt cheap so it's not cost much at all, and imo it's a pretty smart first car.

How it stands at the moment:

Edit: I found quite a bit of difference with the ST170 snorkle/airbox, the auto air deflector and the K&N panel combined. Quite a bit more "revvy" and a bit more "go" especially lower down in the rev range. Doubt it'd do anything on it's own although they're only a tenner or so from Ford so it might be worth a go?

Jesus, a 1.4.... CL, isnt that BELOW the LX!?

Dont mod it at all if you have any dignity, you'll only look like a tool modifiying something so crap. Its probably a reasonable little runabout, albeit painfully slow - you just dont want to draw any attention to it whatsoever!

That looks very smart :)

Mind if I ask what you've spent out? I'm probably looking to do some similar things but all I've got to go on is eBay prices.

This is definitely on the cards at some point, but I'm not sure when. Roughly how much would this cost to have it done by a reputable bodyshop?

30mm Eibach springs
Are these pretty much the 'standard' upgrade for the Focus? What would I be looking at in terms of cost for the kit and fitting? And does lowering the car affect the geometry in a manner that would require further adjustment?

K&N panel filter
ST170 snorkle
ST170 airbox
2.0 auto air deflector
I see bits of this floating around eBay quite regularly, but never the entire package. The airbox seems to be the hardest to find - did you source yours separately or as a complete kit?

ST170 lower grill
Would I be correct in thinking this is a direct replacement for the standard grill?

And speaking of the ST170, I don't suppose you, or anyone else for that matter, know anything about the foglights? I see kits ranging in price from £100 to £250 and they all seem to be slightly different - mainly its the jumper wiring.

Not knowing the electrical systems at all, are the kits without the jumper wiring not genuine Ford parts? Or would a Focus with fogs already have the jumper wiring in place and its only cars without that need them?

Port and polish the head. You do this by removing the air box, and slowly adding a 10kg bag of sand to the air intake with the engine running.
