What Modular PSU to get?

yep, it shouldn't make that much difference though! your talking about a few percentage unless your old psu was terrible with a low load or faulty.

im not sure if my old psu was faulty but it was running warm.. but with my new 900w psu it runs cool, no warm air, just cool air

... also in the bios the voltages are all right with this new psu (+3.3V at 3.36 V, +5V at 5.05 V, +12V at 12.32 V, +3.3 V at 3.33 V)

I have the Corsair 620W and have been using it for over 12 months now very stable

I've just bought myself a Corsair 750W TX. Cheap at £70 Delivered

Overkill some may say but it only worked out 12 quid more than the 650TX so I thought why not, comes with more PCI-E connectors to boot.

Look forward to seeing how it gets on it's a decent upgrade from a Hiper 580W which let's be fair is a ticking timebomb
