Internal components i never have a problem with but when it comes to monitors i haven't got a clue.
I'm currently running a IIyama HM903DTB 19' CRT. I tend to crank the resolution up on my games more often than not 1600 x 1200 however i have had some problems in windows, those being at anything less than 100hz i can see major flicker and more often than not i satrt with a squashed screen.
It's time to take the leap to TFT (better late than never) but where to start?

I don't want to spend more than £350 if i can help it but i don't want to waist my Graphics card so resolution is important.

Possibly widescreen.... got it on my laptop and like it but could be swayed either way.

Any reccomendations will be appreciated and reasons why.

Thanks in advance :D

what will you be using the screen for? At the price you could definitely look at some of the excellent 20"WS models which are popular right now. this article might help you decide which is for you :)

I'll be using it mainly for gaming so need something with a good response time.... i think

thanks for the link, lots of help

I bought the LG 20" LCD L204WT for £225 a few months ago and have been very impressed with it.

It excels in gaming which is what i mainly use it for, along with general desktop and browsing.

can;'t go wrong with the 20WGX2 for that use really, arguably the best gaming screen in the market at the moment. Massive thread about it on these forums from igors who wrote the excellent review at TFTCentral as well :)
