I don't know a lot about monitor in terms of the panels they use and such. Any ideas on a good monitor? Either a 22" or a 24" for gaming. Ive got a limit of about £250.

P.S. What make is OcUK (i know its overclockers, but they don't actually make it.

2 of my clan buddies have purchased that 24" panel and love it. wished it was about when I brought my SM226CW which is also a nice panel. So you can't go wrong either way.

The 226BW has varied panels so you could potentially get a screen that is poorly calibrated out of the box like i did. I spent £50 on a hardware calibration tool (pantone huey) which has fixed the problem. I won't be buying a Samsung monitor again though.

i have 2 acer p223w and love them i recommend them,

i use them for everything from watching films to playing games to my photography work and fine them very nice to look at all day,

also the different modes make it very nice to change from watching a film to reading a web page with out hurting your eyes

I have the OcUk (DGM) monitor and its great.

Some people have had problems (based on the OcUK monitor thread) but it's such a great price for a 24" VA panel.
