Going building a pc at the end of summer and chosing a monitor has me confused!
I have read good reveiws of the Asus PA238Q but then i hear a lot of praise for the Dell Ultrasharp 24inch range.
Is there a big difference between the Dell UltraSharp U2412M and U2410?

I dont do a lot of gaming mostly web browsing and youtube but the build will include 670/680 for the reason of having the option to get into serious gaming.

Cheers

Yes there is quite a big difference between the u2410 and u2412m. mapjow's post is misleading as with what you posted so far you'd be better off with the U2412M.

The u2410 is wide gamut (interesting for professional photographers) and unlike the u2412m it has 1:1 pixel mapping so you can choose to display a 1920x1080 signal (a console) in a non-stretched fashion. So for photographers (there are more steps to this than just the monitor btw) and console gamers the u2410 is interesting for almost everyone else the u2412m is a better deal due to its much lower price.
The tftcentral.co.uk u2412m review does an excellent job at highlighting all the differences if you want to know more.

I would. You get more for your money - more vertical screen space in particular and some extra pixels to play with. Dell are the Rolls Royce of monitor manufacturers as far as customer service goes, too. ASUS not so much. :)
