What monitors are comparable to my FP241W?

Over time I've managed to damage my benq monitor (no need to go into it, but it's certainly past it's best), but other than the damage I've inflicted to it, I quite like it. I realise that it's a good few years old now, and I'm hoping something similar to replace it won't nearly be so expensive. Could anyone throw out some suggestions that are similar in terms of performance/number of inputs so I can start drawing up a short list?

I would keep an eye out for reviews of the Dell UltraSharp U2412M (£300). It is has a 16:10 1920x1200 24in E-IPS panel and looks very much like a scaled up U2311H (not a bad thing at all).

Since the BenQ uses a P-MVA panel and the U2412M uses an E-IPS panel then the Dell will likely not be as good as the BenQ in terms of black level and static contrast ratio (things which VA panels excel at), but the Dell will likely beat the BenQ in terms of low input lag, fast pixel responsiveness (less ghosting for fast moving images), better colour accuracy and wider viewing angles.
