With the 3570k on this week only I've decided to upgrade from my q6600. But I don't know what motherboard or memory would be best. I don't want to spend loads on an expensive feature-filled motherboard if the overclocking performance is no better. I've already got a cpu cooler for the moment. I will buy a better one if I need it later on.

I'd like at least 8GB of ram so I can have a decent size ramdisk for my applications. I am using a solid state drive, so a motherboard that can allow it to operate at it's full capacity is essential, unlike my current pos asus motherboard.

Any reccomendations?

Thanks, but is there any difference between the x and non x versions of that motherboard, other than the number of connectors and sli support?
