what motherboard with my gpu and cpu?

Crossfire will run at x4 and I know thats not really ideal.... it will still work, its Nvidia's SLI that doesn't support dual cards on anything less then x8,x8 on the two slots.

Plus the only mATX board I know of on the Z87 chipset that does x8,x8 is this.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus Z87 MAXIMUS VI GENE Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £163.99
Total : £173.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

mATX (Micro ATX) is a smaller version of ATX that will fit into almost all cases as it PCB is much shorter.

The comment regarding the x4 relates to the speed that the slot runs and is physical wired.

In simple terms the higher the number the quicker the slot is for running a GPU, GPU's in either SLI or Crossfire both need to run at the same speed in order for the interface between the cards to work.

For example

x4,x4
x8,x8

or

x16,x16

If you already had a case and it only took a mATX sized board then all the ATX board suggestions would be wasted.

i havent decided on a case yet but i think i will be going for a cheap one that will fit all my components in the case. why do you ask?

That would be a mistake. A decent case is a better bet as it will have decent cable management (cheap cases often have no cable management at all), better cooling, better build quality and some, not all, will have dust filters for the fans. A case will outlast the rest of your components and at the end of the day it will be staring back at you every time you look at it.
