What motherboard?

So im going for the i7-3770K CPU but im unsure what ATX motherboard to get?

I hope to overclock the cpu so I would like a motherboard that wont be a hinderance to me in that route

I have a sli gpu's too

budget under 200 pounds

Why not grab a newer 4770k if you're buying new?
Or if it's just for gaming for a similar price, grab the 4670k.

Thanks for the reply, I didnt think of the 4770k, id be probably foolish to go for the 3770k now.

Ill be using it for gaming mostly so 4670k makes more sense I presume

i5 2500k is definitely still capable of gaming.
I'd recommend the 4670k & the OC board above if you want to upgrade!

Im half thinking of Asus Z87 MAXIMUS VI HERO now because of the 2x 3.0 pcie16 slots and the pcie 2.0 location

I have a pcie 2.0 sound card and it wont do my gpu's any good having it in between the cards in the gigabyte oc board

Save your money Patrick, buy a descent cpu cooler and overclock that 2500k. Ive got mine sat at 4.4Ghz and it plays 90% of cpu dependant games with very nice fps.
