What mouse and keyboard do you recommend? gaming

Hey guys, i am just wondering what mouse to order, i want a decent one mainly just so i can play games, counter strike source and stuff.
I have been looking at the logitech g5 and the microsoft HABU, but perhaps some of you guys think differently?

Oh also was just looking at the logitech g15 keyboard i am buying a new mouse and keyboard and purposly for gaming and stuff like that, so what keyboard AND mosue do you recommend?

Myself, i like the mx518 i used it when i played CSS and it was a very good mouse. Also the microsoft intellimouse 3 is good. As far as keyboards go i wouldn't waste money on the expensive ones, get something that's built well and you like the feel of.

I use a logitech G5 and Saitek eclipse KB, although I prefer the button layout of the MX518, I like the adjustable weight on the G5 as I'm a bit heavy handed. The eclipse is a good KB, really responsive springy buttons although I only spent £10 on my eclipse and would struggle to justify spending ~£35 on it.

I have the Saitek eclipse keyboard as well. I really like it and it was a toss up between this and a G15..... Until i saw the G15 and :eek:

that thing is HUGE!!! It also had a load of gimmicky crap all around it that i wasn't interested in.

For my full review have a look at the reviews for the saitek board.... mines in there.

As for mice, well i'm running a £2.50 optical mouse i've had since i first got the pc.... its only ever broken twice and i've been able to resolder components in to get it to work each time it broke. If i have lots of spare christmas money though i'm gonna G7 it up, if not... an MS 3.0 or razer *something*
