Hi all,

I have a nice dell tft and a stacker case along with a nice set of creative 5.1 speakers. But i am still using my 10 year old packard bell mouse and keyboard. It does the job but looks out of place and cheap.

What shall i buy to replace it?

You could probably keep the keyboard, but for the mouse get a Logitech mx518, they should be cheapish just now as they are kinda old but they are still great mice for all round use.

Not sure if you are into gaming but this mouse is great for that too.

MX 518 mouse is very good, iv'e been using it for a few years with no probs... As for a good keyboard, i would suggest either a Logitech G15 or Saitek Eclipse.

What is your budget here? I've always personally been quite partial to Microsoft keyboards as they have a good action, as for the mouse, Microsoft and Logitech make good mice at a range of prices but I'd suggest trying a few as some people find that one or other manufacturers mice does not suit them. :)

I'm using an MX518 which looks nice & performs well even though the rubberised feet have come off.

Saitek Eclipse keyboard is what i was using untill it decided to conflict with my Saitek flight stick.

Nice board for playing in no light conditions but i think the Logitech G15 is a far superior board if, like me, you play a lot of games.
