What mouse is everyone using ? 2016

Well I've ordered Nixeus Revel on your heads up mate. I had gotten a Corsair M65 Pro RGB but it was way too heavy and cumbersome for a fingertipper like me.

So, that's sent back and the Revel is on order. I have to say i'm quite excited, LOL. It doesn't look premium but hey who cares, right? It's the right shape and right sensor....perhaps my search is over....for another 2 or so years anyway :)

Thanks again for making me aware.

The Rainforest sell them now at a very competitive price. My US import got slapped with a £14 customs fee. So, mine was not so good value after all.

I've got one, and I like it a lot. So I guess that's what I'm using now :)

Very light (feels lighter than my DM1 Pro S, yes, I've got one too), mine has good feet, reminds me a lot of Zowies.

M1 / M2 clicks are OK, not great, or FK1 sharp, stiffness is average (not too stiff, but not light either). Sound 'hollow'.

Side buttons mushy. Meh, they work and are better than FinalMouse. Well, any side button better than FM.

Wheel is OK, bit notchy, but better than Zowies.

M3 is stiff, like Zowies.

Overall build quality is OK, no rattle, no sensor jiggle.

Light is a bit annoying (breathing effect).

Cable, very Zowie-like, bit thicker.

Sensor, tracking, and in game feel is outstanding, provided you don't require M3. Light, nimble, responsive.

So, not top build quality, or buttons, seems like a cheaper Zowie ZA12, with a great sensor, and better fit.

DM1 Pro S seems to be better built. However, clicks are harder, cable is braided, and for some reason, feels heavier and doesn't glide very well on my Goliathus Speed.

If yours doesn't have any QC issue, I think you'll like it.

Bought a G600 a while ago for MMO's, haven't played any i ages but still use it in windows. Having thumb buttons remapped to things like Home, End, F5, Copy/Paste etc is just so handy.

I was using the G502 core, I love everything about it, except for the fact it makes my pinky ache as my hands are medium-to-largeish , and there's no support for it. I have since moved back to my CM Sentinel Advance 2, and although I find it more comfortable, the tracking and build quality pales in comparison to the logitech.

I'm in the market for another mouse, if anyone wants to recommend something with similar features and quality to the g502 but just a bit bigger, preferably with room for my pinky :) (not intending to hijack your thread OP, sorry.)

Nixeus Revel.

Not had much use yet but early impressions are good.

edit: M1 and M2 buttons are great for my own tastes, not to light that I might click by accident but not to heavy that they require any real force. Side switches work, feel cheap, but they work fine. Shape is generic sensei so no real surprises there. Tracking so far seems excellent on OC mouse mat. The weight is just right for me as the previous mouse I tried, a xtrfy XG-M2, felt very nice but was far to heavy for me nor was I keen on the braided cable.

Nixeus Revel.

3360 Sensor, omron switches and sensei shape. Pretty much the perfect mouse and well priced at £36.

Shame about the side buttons feeling awful but they do work really well.

Logitech G602, First wireless mouse ive had,got it so I can use it while watching online sport/movies. Hooked up from pc to sofa so to speak. :) cant fault it.

Looking for a new mouse to replace a dying G9X. For gaming and lightroom, not bothered about wireless but not against it.

MX Master looks pretty impressive for £70, is it any good? Anything else worth a look?

I used the MX master for about 5 minutes. It was the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. I can't remember how it performed, though it is reviewed well. If you look around, you can find it as low as £50 sometimes.

It does look good, I like the option to change between a clicky and freewheeling mouse wheel too.
