Whats everyones fav. mouse? I'm looking at either MX158 or the Deathadder.
I need help deciding.

That mouse is a few years old and still everyone recommends it. Why? Whats so special about it?

Not used the MX518, but what I can say is that pretty much all Razer stuff I've used is crap.

Bargain price, accurate, Logitech support is the dogzz nutzz, theres been a few threads similar to this and its usually always between the MX518 and the Razor.

The upgrade to the MX518 the 'G400' is out soon, so I'd wait for that.

I like the G9x myself (I am currently using one) but I do like the look of the G700 that is being advertised here

+1. Depends on price though, I'd expect between MX518 and G500. Which is... pretty much the same.

THE worst thing to recommend to people. It is a very personal preference. I like things simple, but quality. I use a Steelseries XAI.

Problem is which shop? I tried. Most mice were usually boxed up and the ones on display are usually the standard ones coming with pre-built systems

MX518. Had the same one for about 5 years. It's cheap, it's comfortable, it does the job. Here's to another 5 years with the same mouse.

it is. again, it depends what sort of mouse you want. As papa says, it mostly a personal choice. The razer will be different from the MX518.

Personal preference > features/stats

Currys/PC World usually have a few out on display, although the gaming mice are very limited there. You could always return them under DSR if you aren't happy with them.

i have the g500 previous the g5 for gaming on a personal preference these have been exceptional mice for me!

Coolermaster Storm Inferno.

Very good reviews and it;s what Im looking at. Pretty much an fps mouse though, not suited to MMOs
