What mousemat/gaming surface do you use? (pics)

I just can't seem to get my mousepad right. I have a coolermaster xornet mouse and use it on a boogie bug XL, which is rubbish as there is far too much resistance. I then bought a Qck mini and again too much resistance! The only pad that enabled it to move smoothly was a CM STROm battlepad H2 but it is too small.

Can anyone recommend a large, very very low friction mouse pad? I was looking at razer sphex.

Cheers.

Steel series I-2. Glass = little resistance.

Would never go back to soft surfaces now.

Currently using the Rift Steelseries mousemat that came with the Collector's Edition, it's nothing to write home about but it feels nice and can be rolled up for LAN nights and such.

Been looking at this mat and want to buy it. Would you describe it has having very little resistance? I am looking for a slick mousepad with lots of speed but don't want a hard mat.

Yes, it's very quick with very little resistance. Big difference to a soft mat.

Much easier to clean as well if that's important...

I don't suppose you know where to buy Puretrak things from in the UK? Emai me (in trust) if it's a competitor. I need a new Talent for when my ones gets too old, but I don't want to play £20 for shipping from the US. :x

Unfortunately, I don't believe there's anywhere in the UK. Got mine online direct from Puretrak in the US. I did suggest it to OcUK over a year ago but seems like they're not interested which kind of surprises me considering how well regarded Puretrak pads are. I'm sure they'd sell lots. But perhaps ordering bulk from the US would not work out for them.

Those above look cool! However I have decided to order the Boogie mat based on all the positive reviews! It will cover most of my desk but that will be good! Still using Logitech M705 - is there much point me getting a Razer mouse or anything?

My original diamondback chameleon and new deathadder about to be installed.
Everglite Titan mouse mat in case it wasnt obvious :D
Heres hoping the deathadder lasts as long as my diamondback has!

QCK+ and a Razer Deathadder. I love my deathadder and the QCK is pretty good. They wear down quite quickly though, this one is a few years old and the coating or whatever on it wears off.

I use the Steelseries I-2. It's made of glass and it's great for precision gaming like FPS games or RTS ones.

Overclockers used to sell them but they don't anymore. They're easy enough to find from the rainforest or Steelseries.

Wasn't that what Icemat use to be?
