What movie franchise do you wish you enjoyed?

I occasionally listen to a podcast called 'The rewatchables' where they go over an older movie with a fine tooth comb - best performance, most rewatchable scene etc

Anyway, I was listening to one about 'The fast and the furious' (which I liked) and then they recently did fast 5, which I thought was ridiculous but not really in an enjoyable way.

I fell asleep during fast 6, and didn't bother with 7 or 8.

The way they were talking about Fast 5 made me wish I liked the films, one of them thought it was the best action movie of the decade! I know it's just their opinion but it's just not a series that does anything for me really.

Anyone else have a franchise they wish they could enjoy like other people seem to? Marvel, Star Wars, Mission Impossible etc

I guess what I mean is, when you hear empassioned fans making a convincing argument for how good something is, and wishing you could be that enthusiastic about it, but when you watch it, it does absolutely nothing for you.

I love Game of Thrones for instance. But that seems to be one in this thread that people really don't like.

I ended up buying all 8 movies Fast and the Furious movies on UHD Blu-ray and have been working though them in chronological order (e.g Tokyo Drift after 6)

The Fast and the Furious is ok, bit dated (stealing dvd players)
2fast2furious is ****
Fast and Furious (4) was ok
Fast Five - really enjoyed it on second viewing
6 - again, better than I remember...
Tokyo Drift - Passable

So just 7 and 8 to go and then I'll watch Hobbs and Shaw at the cinema with my limitless card.

Who'd have thought...
