What network solution?

Hi Guys
I have recently installed a Sky router in a new house. Although the distance is not far it is not practical to run a Ethernet cable to the study where the PC is. I have several devices with Ethernet ports but no wirelss adaptors. Ideally I would likento buy one wireless device with several ethernet ports to connect my devices. What do I need?

Any help gratefully recieved.

You can do this with with the wireless bridge function available on some wireless access points. you would then use its Ethernet port to plug into a switch which can then be used to plug into your devices.

Have you looked into powerline at all?

I had looked at powerline but the kit isn't cheap. I've taken your advice and looked at access points. This might be the cheapest easiest way. Thanks

You could even get an access point with a built in switch to save having 2 devices, even just a router with wireless and don't use the modem portion of it.

Can I do that? I have an ADSL modem/router kicking around can I use that tonlognonto my wireless network and share the connection via wired LAN?

some routers will support it. My old linksys did after a firmware flash.WHat model is it?
