hey guys, this is my first post on overclockers.co.uk but here goes, two years ago i built my first pc and added a few bits since then but now i am looking at what i can do next and looking for advice on what to upgrade and when.
I use the pc mainly for gaming and watch movies/tvshows a lot too. i do game in 3D as i have the pc hooked up to a LG £Dtv 50inch using a HDMI cable.
my build when i first built the tower it was as follows:
CPU : AMD PHENOM ll X4 955 3.2GHz with uprated heatsink and fan (unsure make)
Motherboard : ASUS M4A87TD EVO
RAM : PNY 8GB 1333
PSU : CROSAIR GS700
GPU : ZOTAC GTX460 1GB
DRIVE : 1TH Samsung HDD
CASE : Xigmatek Midgard
OPTICAL DRIVE : LG DVD-RW 22X
OS : WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM
since i built this over 2 years ago i have made the following upgrades/additions:
GPU : EVGA GTX570 1.2GB
DRIVES : OCZ VORTEX 3 240GB SSD + 500GB WD HDD
OS : WINDOWS 8 PRO INSTALLED ON SSD
CASE : ZALMAN Z11PLUS
so the advice i am looking for is what can i upgrade next. spending wise i dont want to spend more than £300-£400 a year.
