Corsair RM650 X
Intel 8700K Clocked at 5.1 all cores
Cooled by Corsair H150i Pro -AIO
FKA 1080 GPU overclocked
Cooled by Alphacool eiswolf GPU block -AIO
32 GB HyperX Fury 2400 MHz
Samsung 960 256GB NVME SSD for main boot.
Samsung 860 500GB SSD for games
SoundBlaster Z
Fractal Design r6 case

From this list as, looking to spend anything up to 1k to upgrade on.
What can you advise on?

Can't really see any point to upgrade at all there :p Do you struggle in any games with FPS?

What resolution & refresh rate do you play at? Only thing you could do if you need the FPS, is a 2080 Super maybe

GPU. A 2070 Super is a very strong upgrade, and factoring in the resale value of your 1080 isn't a bad buy at all. A 2080 Super if you really want to spend, though the value is lessened.

Everything else in your rig is perfectly fine. I assume with that rig you're gaming at 1440P/144hz?

I use Acer Predator 144Hz monitor overclocked to 165hz. I do want to play and keep ultra settings in games at 1440p, for upcoming games.
I am glad the 2080 Super was mentioned.
Any point to faster memory?

Any parts upgraded, will go onto my wife's PC.

Thank you.

No point in faster RAM for your build.

If you're playing 1440p @ high refresh rates, and you really have the money to burn - you may as well go for either the 2070 Super or 2080 Super, whichever you can justify the ££ on best. :p

I've personally just gone from a Vega 56 to a 2070 Super, but you're already doing quite well on a 1080. You'd notice a bigger fps increase on a 2080S but it's also ~£190 more.

2070S / £510 - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...ddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-1b3-gi.html

2080S / £699 - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-2080-super-gaming-oc-8192mb-gddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-1b7-gi.htm£l

If you are gonna spend up to £1k on a upgrade you might as well sell the 1080 go all out on the GTX 2080ti....lol. But you save few hundred £ by going a step down to 2080/2080 Super
