What next

I have a D500 and my 12 months is up in one month, I am very tempted to upgrade to a E900, they look really cool. But I dont use many calls, 150 minutes at the most, I do use a lot of texts though. I love the orange network, but it seems to be the most expensive on contract.

I was looking at going on orange pay as you go and keeping the D500 as it is a good phone. The orange pay as you go has an offer where you commit to topping up either £10 or £20 and they give you a lot of texts (1000 for £20 and 400 for £10 I think) and you keep the credit also to use for calls. This sounds like the best deal for me but I dont know how log it will last for? any ideas or any similar offers?

Orange do a contract phone with texts only.

You pay £20 a month and get 3000 texts and you can get a D600 for free.

If you like the D500, you could probably flog the D600 for the cost of the 12-months line rental on ebay and end up with completely free texts.

good thinking! I didnt see the texts only, Do they do bundles, I would like to have 50/100 minutes on there. Anyone got any experience with the orange PAYG.

Slightly OT - But 3000 text a month. That's just ****ing sad

100 texts a day? Anyone who does anywhere near that has issues imo

yea, that is a bit excessive, I was looking for about 100 to 150 mins and about 300-500 texts

Most online tariffs can do 200 x-network mins and 500 texts for £30 per month

Orange student deal offer loads of txts, might be worth a look.

(thats if you are a student anyway)

nah not a student unfortunately! I have decided I need a E900 in my life so I'll be getting one of those!
