Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA (Socket 775) PCI-Express/AGP DDR2 Motherboard
2x1GB Corsair PC3200 DDR
GeForce 6800 GT

Just bought the CPU and mobo, and I was wondering if there is more I could squeeze from the machine for £100 or less.
Any suggestions? :)

Ram you say?
How about this:
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

Would it suit the CPU and be a happy overclocker? :)

The Giel isn't such a "happy" overclocker and tends to get stuck about 900MHz ( although I bought it anyway but i don't oc it :D )

2gb Crucial Ballistix PC5300 will easily clock to 1000+MHz with very tight timings and would be my suggestion.

Another set of RAM that will clock that high is the G.Skill 2GB HZ PC2-6400

Which IMO will clock to the same speeds with slightly tighter timings however, the timings aren't a big issue with the C2d's.

The 2GB kit just as good? I'd rather have 2GB (for Battlefield 2 :p).

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA663)

A 667 -> 1000MHz being easier than a 800 -> 1000MHz clock surprised me a lil.

Indeed I meant the 2gb kit, wrong link :)

It is a little surprising as you said but the Ballistix is the same chips as the Ballistix as the PC8500 at a lower stock clock. I can confirm that it does 1000MHz because I have done it. With both of the sets mentioned above :)
