So I have my rig and still feel like it's missing something :(

Specs are;

2600k @ 4.8Ghz
Asrock Z68 Extreme 7
8Gb Avxir Yeollw 1600MHz RAM
Gigabyte Windforce 3x 780 @ 1.3Ghz
120Gb Kingston V300 SSD
2x Samsung F5's in RAID 0
Corsair RM850 PSU
ASUS Xonar DGX
DGM 27" 1440p monitor

It just seems like I'm missing something..... I've really been thinking of swapping the 780 out for a 290 or 290x as some of my games have been pretty close to the 3Gb mark... Maybe another SSD for RAID 0?

I've also been looking at moving to a 4770k but worried if I get a bad clocking chip it'll be a side grade......What's it missing...
 
If you feel your gpu is holding you back I would wait for the non reference 290's to appear in January. I don't think going from an i7-2600k to a i7-4770k would be worth the outlay tbh.
 
A 4770k would be a side grade anyway. A 290 would probably be a downgrade from a 1300mhz 780.

It all looks fine to me, I'm afraid.
