what online game for netbooks?

Has anyone got any recommendations for an online game that can be played with a netbook? I was thinking RTS or FPS, but anything would do. Would quake 3 run, or starcraft etc? What about something newer like cod4 on minimum settings or COH?

Also what about installing it as there's no dvd drive!

whats the best way to install them without an external dvd drive? Can it be done over a network?
