Which OS are you using/recommend for heavy cpu oc?
Which system are you using personally for heavy overclocking CPU and or GPU? We're planning on reaching at least 5Ghz on a pentium g3258 anniversary edition. All the overclocking is going to be done outside in the back garden

CPU: Pentium g3258 anniversary edition
Mobo: ASUS Maximus VII Hero Z97
Ram: Ballistix low profile 1x8gb 1600mhz 1.5v
PSU: Corsair 850RM FM
GPU: MSI HAWK 760
Are there any barebones version of Windows 7 or did you have to strip it yourself using e.g. RT Seven Lite? I was also thinking of using Windows XP, but isn't it a little bit out of date?
