What OS for old games?

Just curious to what people find most suited to most games?

I have always stuck to 32bit OS's due to a few old games specifying 32bit only (C&C titles, old Warhammer), but can 32bit games operate on 64bit OS's?

More specifically can all the C&C titles which state they are for 32bit operating systems be used with 64bit operating systems?

I currently use XP Pro 32bit and Windows 7 32bit.

yes old games can run on a 64bit os

Unless your talking "DOS" games, the vast majority of windows games will work on 64bit windows. I did fine 1 game that didnt work once, but dont remember what it is.

Dual-boot 64 bit windows 7/vista with 32 bit xp, you'll get the most compatability that way...
