Going on from my post on slow BT broadband I have today been out and purchased some 20mm round trunking - The idea is to replace the less than 1m length of 6 wire from NTE5 just inside garage door to socket at my computer desk - This will involve 600mm of trunking on outside wall - - The idea is to run cord from router straight to the NTE5 broadband faceplate I have just acquired and also get rid of all filters - I have also ordered 20m Ethernet cord to run from Computer to loft while I am doing all this work - I have been toying with idea of running Ethernet to bedrooms and fitting cameras if the sold field at bottom of garden becomes a housing estate.
What I need to know does anyone think I should run any other type of cable while I am at it - I have half drum of Sat coax sitting doing nothing so would this be any use for any of mention uses.
With Phone cord - new 6 wire to phone socket and Ethernet lead there isn't going to be much room left in this 20mm duct
So I need to get right mix of cable now rather than find out when I need them I should have put in something else.
Thanks
Dave
